Deadbeat Roommate Evicted! 11-30-09.mov


I got rid of my deadbeat roommate this morning. This guy thought he could live in my house and eat my food--rent free. I mean, the nerve! So, I gave him his walking papers. I had been hearing noises for a few days, but I thought it was the squirrels on my deck or or in the gutters. Then at 5 AM this morning, bleary-eyed, I stumbled into my kitchen, and this little fellow scurried past me. I let out a very loud SHRIEK! Let me tell you, nothing will wake you up faster in the morning than a searing blast of adrenaline coursing through your veins. I've had the same "Smart Mouse Trap" for at least 10 years, and this will now be my 3rd residence in the past decade to become home to small, furry, unwanted house guests. This mouse trap always does the job, and in a humane way. After I catch them, I take them on a ROAD TRIP! I drive them to a local park and set them free. At Hidden Pines, I caught 13 mice! On Dalgate Place, where I lived for 8 years, I probably caught 20 over the years. I'd have mice one winter. And then no mice for a year or two, and then mice again. It always seems to happen when the weather gets cold, and they're searching for a nice, warm place to live. Can you blame them? LOL. Anyway, you can hear me narrating the video of the great "mouse release" into the woods. I don't know why, but when I watched the video, I totally cracked me up! Hopefully, you will laugh, too.
